  I had two separate engagements with LabMentors. First, I founded the company on personal risk capital and raised capital from Institutional and private venture capital sources. I designed its innovative elearning product line including the web-based lab. In the first engagement I: • Successfully closed several business development opportunities by providing engaging and powerful presentations, enthusiastically representing company at industry events, and performing concise, effective, and articulate online demonstrations/training sessions. • Effectively managed resources and was part of a team that designed, developed, implemented and managed an elearning system providing remote desktops, servers, applications and networks. • Utilizing an engaging leadership style, successfully managed customer, investor, and partner relationships. Lead the Successful growth of the company and distribution network culminating in the profitable sale of the company to PCS Edventures in 2006/2007. In the second engagement with LabMentors, I was doing a lot of the same types of things, but now as an employee of the subsidiary of a public company, so the responsibilities changed a bit, more administration and accountability to HO to be sure, with some very nice successes along the way: • Designed and executed a strategic marketing plan leading to a record net profit of 30% within 3 years - yes that's right 30%. • Lead teams and managed numerous software projects while meeting innovative and complex technical design requirements.

  This was a pivotal consulting role which would pave the way for some of the technology that I would pursue in the coming years. In this engagement, I: • Provided solid business analysis leading to the design, management, and successful completion of IT Software projects across many verticals including HR, Asset and Inventory Management, Systems Support, and enterprise accounting solutions. Early versions of TOGAF were used as a guide in the design and deployment of some enterprise systems. • Designed IT solutions that exceed life-cycle and flexibility requirements of stakeholders requiring an exceptional vision for future development trends. • Managed and supported a team of 20 developers in Canada developing innovative and cost-effective software solutions. • Actively pursued business development opportunities, hosted and performed sales presentations for consulting services/products. • Coordinated and managed outsourced development resources.

  In this first full-time job after graduation from University, I was very much in a technical role: • Planned, organized, and executed the refurbishment of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Rebuilt power semiconductor drives, feedback & control systems, and reprogrammed firmware. • Designed and developed software solutions based on the successful acquisition, communication, and refinement of vision, scope, and requirements from stakeholders. • Performed troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolved issues involving software, hardware, and networking resources. • Performed R&D of a gas flow analysis, feedback, and control package for semiconductor manufacturing equipment interface.
